      Judi Garfi Partridge is the founder and CEO of Summit General Insurance, a nationwide insurance broker offering a comprehensive range of specialized products to the equine industry. The company is based in Brea, California. As a horse owner and a businesswoman, Ms. Partridge understand both the financial and emotional investment that goes into horse ownership. She and her Summit General Insurance team place a strong emphasis on providing high-touch, “concierge-level” professional service — specifically, taking the time to “educate” each client about equine insurance so that they can be secure in the knowledge that their often considerable investment is properly protected for the lifetime of the animal. Summit General Insurance was founded in 2009 as a result of Ms. Partridge’s decade of experience as a successful owner and breeder of her own thoroughbred racehorses and her more that thirty years as founder and CEO of Eastwood Insurance, one of the nation’s most successful non-standard automobile insurance broker companies. Ms Partridge sold Eastwood in 2007 to Nationwide Insurance (the third largest insurance company in the US) to dedicate herself full time to her horse racing and breeding interests and to launch Summit General Insurance.
