      Located in Yonkers, N.Y., Greyston Bakery makes desserts, such as brownies and blondies. Brownies made by Greyston Bakery have dense texture and deep, dark chocolate chunks. Topped with fresh raspberries or a scoop of vanilla ice cream, Greyston s brownies are often served as desserts at dinner parties. The bakery s blondies look like brownies, except they are lighter brown. With its subtly sweet flavor and chunky texture, the Geyston Baker s blondies taste buttery. Blonides have the rich, chocolaty accents of chocolate chips and the gooey, moist interior of brownies. The bakery s profits support the community development work of the Greyston Foundation, a nonprofit that provieds housing, child care, health care and a computer learning center. In addition, the bakery actively recruits and hires employees that have had difficulties finding employment in the past.
