Located in Yatesville, Pa., Pittston Area Senior High School offers classes to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, math, social studies, science, arts and humanities and business studies. It offers various sports, such as basketball, baseball, volleyball, track and field, and wrestling and swimming. Its facility comprises an auditorium, choral and band rooms, swimming pool and locker areas and cafeteria and media center. The school also provides talent shows and educational trips to students. It offers various community-based programs, such as sports and band banquets, drug seminars, vocational programs and gym and physical education exhibitions. Pittston Area Senior High School is an affiliate of the National Honor Society of Secondary Schools.
