ABOUT COX BEARING AND SEAL Cox Bearing was started in 1979. We are celebrating 26 years of providing bearings and seals to the Yankton area and are continually expanding our horizons. I can't hardly imagine the total number of hours and gallons of gas we have saved people. Before we started, you had to drive to Sioux City, IA, Omaha NE, or Sioux Falls, SD. We started on a shoe string and continue to build inventory. Within the last 12 months we have been appointed an Authorized Industrial Distributor for Torrington and Fafnir bearings. This is a huge deal. We also have one of the largest stocks of Goodyear industrial v-belts in the area. A welding shop called recently about 4 B120 belts. He told us he had called everywhere no one had 4 matching belts WE HAD 8. He was happy because he had a job to complete by Monday AM. Stories like this are what make my motor run. We have sold bearings for everything from vacuum cleaners to Air Force B1 bombers. We have an AIDS research lab in Paris that has equipment with bearings from Cox. Remember: if we don't stock the bearing or seal you need get a tank of gas and a roadmap because you will need both.
