Have shopped here since it opened. With recent "remodel" (rearranging) it's much more difficult to locate what you want. I realize this will improve as we get familiar with the layout but at the moment it's frustrating. Additionally, there has been an on-going frustration with the deli dept. They can see you standing there waiting and turn their back to you. Went in this a.m. to get a couple things and thought I'd get a b-fast sand., and couldn't get one of the couple people there (I think one was actually the deli manager) to even acknowledge me. Numerous times this has happend with deli meats and I've called the mgr., they apologize, but nothing changes. I basically shop here because it's 6 blocks from home but I'm beginning to think it's not worth the frustration.

What is the point of having a 20 items or less line if that limitation is not enforced? The lady in line this afternoon with at least 50 items - not cool!

Notably good service experience

I have been a Safeway shopper only for all groceries. The people are great and the prices and being able to find what you are looking for used to be great. But now it is somewhat hard to find things and the prices are very high. Love the fact that they have a StarBucks now.
