Founded in 1967, Orchard-Rite Limited Inc. serves growers around the world by producing agricultural equipment. The company designs, engineers and builds wind machines as well as tree shakers. Situated in Union Gap,Wash., it designs tree shakers for use in harvesting almonds, walnuts, pecans and pine nuts. In addition, Orchard-Rite Limited Inc. utilizes a multitude of tools, such as aerial photography, topographical mapping and global positioning system (GPS) to select the location for each wind machine.
