General Info
A solo practice allows Dr. Tillou to focus on the way you would like to approach your health journey. The intention is to identify the problem and formulate nonsurgical/nonpharmaceutical treatment options. The reality is you come into this office with your unique history of procedures, symptoms, and treatments, all of which are fully respected and a factor in how care presents itself from this point forward. Dr. Tillou has lived enough life to offer you the mind of a scientist, the experience of a mom, and the wisdom of a grandmother as she accepts the privilege of being your doctor. A Doctor of Chiropractic is trained as a physician and as a therapy provider. The physician aspect is the examination, in and out of office testing as needed, diagnosis, counseling, plan of care, and ongoing assessment. The therapy is that which is done in the office as treatment for the condition. This includes historical chiropractic methods combined with advanced therapies conducive to your particular goals. There is also opportunity for rehabilitation, posture expertise, movement and balance, and nutritional support. So, a visit to the chiropractor may be a slightly different experience than what you are familiar with going to your medical physician. On any given visit, Dr. Tillou could be wearing her "physician" hat, her "therapist" hat, or both. What occurs at a visit depends on your conditon as well as your treatment goals. Whether you are suffering from something chronic, a new or old injury, or actively looking to start a plan to assess and improve your overall health, there is a general cycle of care.
