Athletes in Action, founded in 1966, is a sports ministry that works to create athletes and spread spiritual messages worldwide. It has presence in more than 100 Unites States college campuses and over 35 U.S. professional teams. Athletes in Action has nearly 500 employees and over 15,000 athletes. The ministry maintains a location in Xenia, Ohio and consists of women, media and sports-ethics ministries. It supports basketball, tennis, baseball, soccer, volleyball and wrestling teams. Athletes in Action's campus division instills spiritual values and beliefs in college students through its athletic influencers. The ministry organizes a range of sports events and activities for the spiritual enhancement of players.
