Its products and technology are used to serve the automotive, heavy truck, railroad, food processing, industrial, oilfield, controls, marine, mining, plumbing, electrical, medical, consumer and pump markets. The company s range of products includes airbrake diaphragms, seals, bladders, couplings, custom-molded products, extruded products, sheet stock, coated fabrics and composite materials. Longwood Elastomers has several production facilities in the United States and a facility in Europe. Through the years, the company has acquired divisions of several companies, including the Gates Molded Products Company, Aeroquip Molded Rubber Products, Goodyear's fabric-reinforced molded rubber and extruded products, Fairprene Industrial Products, Volker Hog, Scraper and Polishing Whip Division and Eagle-Picher Rubber Molding Division. Longwood Elastomers is a subsidiary of Longwood Industries, a manufacturer of rubber, plastic and specialty products for the transportation, industrial and consumer markets.
