STAY AWAY from this Little Shop of Horrors!



Took radio here to have light replaced. $10 they said. Tried to talk me into bunch of add-ons. I agree to have amp added (pricey at $80, I've seen identical amps elsewhere $50, but was laid-up here for the day & had the time).



2 hrs later (supposed to be done 1 hr), said they have to get another amp from their "other" shop, because this ones bad. Return in 4 hrs, radio sits on shelf behind repairman. Says this one also defective, will get another & install by next morning. What choice did I have... parts/wires everywhere.



Go in next morning at 10 (planned on leaving at 6, so I'm out 4 hrs driving for the day), STILL don't work. Told them forget it. Said would be ready by 12. Return at 12, still on shelf, not together yet. Stood at counter, watched until they fixed it.



Finally, after all that, their schit removed from it, radio was dead. By now its 2. Lost 8 hrs driving time, $450 radio, & still they wanted $10 for lite!!! Can you believe that. This happened March 2011.



Its bad enough they don't know what they're doing. But to destroy your stuff, then CHARGE you for it. And to be rude about it on top of that. Do yourselves a favor... if you're passing through Wytheville and need some radio work, just keep on trucking down the road aways. This fool apparently has 2 shops somewhere here, or else they lied about that to stall for more time, but I'd avoid Wytheville altogether just to be sure.



There are other CB shops in Wytheville for sure, you can hear them yapping every 2 minutes over the airwaves trying to lure in more victims. They sound like a bunch of hicks, all trying to cut each other down. They need to pay less attention to each other and focus more on their customers. So I'd just avoid ANY of them in this hole in the road and keep on moving.
