run don't walk away from this place especially if u are a woman. i went there as my transmission was not working correctly and i was told by dan that it was my wire harness that runs into tranny and he replaced that and he would need to replace my ignition switch as he always does the both. well as it turned out he never did this work he replaced my battery and charged me 192.00 labor to do this. he also said i needed back brakes so i agreed to this, so i went in with a tranny problem paid over 600.00 for a battery and brakes. i have pictures to show he never touched my tranny, i got a new tranny installed for 1000.00. he quoted me 2000.00 after telling me it was the torque converter and i questioned him on that and of course he changed his story. run people run
I have no hesitation to recommend Reliable Auto Repair to anyone looking for an honest, knowledgable and friendly and courteous place to take your car. I recently had a coolant leak in my car and even though it was difficult to pinpoint what was causing it, they worked hard to make sure they repaired it and had me back on the road very quickly, keeping me in the loop the entire time. I was more than satisfied with the service they provided and absolutely thrilled with the polite way they deal with their customers.
After being quoted over $1200 (not even including inspection!)in unnecessary repairs by a dealership,I brought my car to Dan to see what was really going on. For less then $400 I left with two cars inspected, new breaks, and everything else my cars needed. They fit us in for a last minute inspection so we could get on the road for an out of state job interview, and Dan kept me updated on the repairs my other car needed throughout the weekend. He even spent a good amount of time on the phone with me explaining exactly what was going on with my car. If you want someone to give you a real breakdown of what your car needs, then go here!! Dan is a lifesaver!!
I was open for one month and only my friends and family came to Reliable Auto Repair. Not one person that I didn't know personally came in to have their cars repaired. Having known this person for years. It is hard for me to imagine anyone feeling less than satisfied with his knowledge and service. He is not only honest and professional. He is also kind and courteous. Please ignore this previous post and check out his Facebook page for real reviews
