H.T. Hackney is one of the Midwest's leaders in supplying products and services to the convenience store and supermarket industry. Its products include tobacco, snack foods, groceries, cleaning supplies, frozen foods, automotive products, coffee, sandwiches, candy, beverages, paper products, HBC, pet supplies, general merchandise and toys. It also offers stores services, including needs analysis, next-day delivery, reduced units of shipping, educational seminars, and order of books and invoices. In June 2003, the H.T. Hackney Company purchased L&L/Jiroch and J.F. Walker from parent company Spartan Foods. L&L Jiroch serviced the states of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Tennessee from three distribution centers.
