***Do Not Use this company*** They built a covered patio for us last March. It's been leaking ever since. Mike the owner said that he would take care of it and he hasn't. I call him on his cell. He claims he never received the texts or calls. I sent him a video and pictures. I emailed him. I talked to his wife. She didn't want me to write a bad review. I have given them many chances and they have not done anything. Mike has been by a few times and said he would come back in a couple of days and never does.
They are very sloppy with their work. They poured concrete to build the extended patio and left some of the concrete at one of our neighbor's ally. Our neighbor called the city. I had told Mike about it. He didn't clean it up until the city forced them.
They stained the patio and over-sprayed on the brick and the metal fence poles. They left a lot of nails on the ground. We had to keep calling them to stain the fence. Mike said the didn't know that the fence wasn't stained.
I am going to have to call someone else out to repair everything that Mike did not do. I paid him over $20,000. Please DO NOT USE them!!

Mike and team built a beautiful 8ft fence, custom patio cover, stone and granite bar, and extended patio. They were professional, courteous and provided skilled workmanship. I would highly recommend them.

Mike and his guys are the best at their craft. His employees were very polite and courteous, and there work was top notch. Have recommended them to multiple friends and will continue to do so. Looking forward to our next project with North Texas Fence and Deck.

The company is a small family business. The scope of work was to install 18 post, clad them in cedar, to replace the fence caps and redo the trim work along the top of 4 fence boxes. The results: 1) the fence caps had small separations between them and not tightly finished; 2) the trim work along the top of 3 of the 4 fence boxes left gaps and not well finished; 3) my yardman noticed that the cladding around the posts was loosely nailed and falling of; 4) they did not clean up well after themselves leaving cement on top of my plant ledges; and 5) lack of good customer service. I left several voice mails, and e-mails. Promises were made at first to return and fix the problem. Ultimately, I received no responses. I would not recommend them due to very low quality and poor customer service.

I would recommend Mike and his company North Texas fence and deck. He has delivered over 375 feet of 8' board on board fencing with a 10' sllding gate with the 3 days he promised me. I am waiting now for him to finish my patio cover, and I can't wait to use it.

Service was sub-par. We have called and emailed North Texas Fence & Deck to resolve the issues. They make promises on the phone and via email that they will come fix it. They never show up. Nothing worse then having a company promise to resolve issues and then totally ignore their promises. Pick another company.

I DO NOT recommend this company. In June we contacted him and paid our deposit for a patio cover that was suppose to be installed in 3 weeks. After excuse, after excuse.....and 3 months later they said they would give us our deposit back. The bad part is - the first excuse was that worker had back injury (which is understandable) but they did NOT contact us to tell us the installation was going to be delayed. Then they said just a few more weeks. Then a month later we had to call back again for status update and we "were on the schedule". Mid-Sept. I get a call that rules changed on 8/31/13 about insurance and its going to take him 6 months to comply so he is mailing us deposit back. #1- they should keep us informed along the way regarding delays #2- if you run a business you should stay up to date on changing rules (I am sure they didn't just learn a few days ago they were not in compliance)

The fence appears to be sound, but uneven boards are everywhere. The finishing touches lack professionalism. The promises of returning to fix the problems have all been just lip service.

Do not pay these people until you are satisfied, do not trust them to come back and make things right.

we recently hired north texas fence and deck. Mike the owner came out and did the estimate as well as the install. He was a true craftsman. I would recommend him to anyone.
