Bearfoot Lodge Private School

My daughter attended bearfoot for about 4 weeks. During that time, she had three different teachers and they called five times to pick her up stating she was sick. Each time I took her to the Doctor and only one time was she actually sick. The other four times, they claimed she had a fever but when I took her home she never ran a fever and the Dr could not find anything wrong with her. What use is daycare when they don't care for your kids.

I enrolled my daughter in to the 6-12 mth class August 25,2008. The second day when i went to pick her up @ 6, I reviewed her daily log and they had not feed her but 1 small jar of baby food in the 9 hrs she was in their care. She had cried all afternoon. When I confronted director & teacher on why they starved / neglected my child while in their care all was said was "they forgot to feed her". I went in the following week to collect the rest of my daughters things and they had the same teachers in the class. When i asked for an incident report, I was told that the director never did one. PLEASE... if you care about your children you will not put them in this school. They clearly do not know how to care for children if they are starving infants and allowing them to cry for 5 hours when they were instructed to feed her every 3 hours 2 jars of food. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Bearfoot Lodge is Top Notch! My son attended three different daycare facilities before we found Bearfoot. He learned so much in his time at Bearfoot and the teachers genuinely care about the students. He was well prepared for Kindergarten and is doing exceptionally well in school at this time. I could not have found a better place for my child to spend some of the most important years of his life. When we drive by - he always makes comments. He misses being part of the Bearfoot group! I will use Bearfoot again once my daughter is 12 months old.
