Martin L. King Jr. Elementary School serves students in grades three through five. It offers several subjects in its curriculum, including reading, writing, science, social studies, health awareness, spelling and math. Students also attend music, physical education, computer and art classes. In addition, the school conducts computer applications classes. Martin L. King Jr. Elementary School s library houses a variety of storybooks, quiz books, biographies, picture dictionaries, encyclopedias and puzzles. The media center also offers access to several child-friendly search engines. The school organizes parent-teacher conferences, family nights, and additional celebrations and events. Located in Wyandanch, N.Y., Martin L. King Jr. Elementary School is a part of the Wyandanch Union Free School District.
