Was I surprised to find this great place hidden in the small town of Wurtsboro. The staff was there to make sure my stay was enjoyable. A word of advise, don't bet to win when you play horseshoes with Sylvester. We had a little campfire going at night. The pool was very large with plenty of chairs. My family and I chose a cottage and they were great. It took me back to the bungalow days with all the modern conveniences. The town is right there but the hotel is on a large property that is hidden from the main road so in other words we were able to walk to restaurants and local shops. We were even able to bring our dog. I highly recommend Valley Brook to all types of visitors.

I spent a weekend here and will definitely be back for a week in the summer. Its a small place with big heart, Sylvester was so accommodating to all our needs. The cabins are adorable and very clean. The town has a lot of cute stores to shop in and there are a lot of restaurant choices (thats why i need to go back, haha, I didn't get to try them all). I highly recommend this establishment for all.
