Chandler Magnet School is an educational institution that works to meet the academic and extracurricular needs of students by involving parents, students and faculty members. It enrolls more than 300 students in pre-school through grade six. The school offers classes in English, math, art, music and physical education. It participates in English as a Second language, Title I and special education and No Child Left Behind programs. Chandler Magnet School follows the educational assessment guidelines set by the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS). The school additionally organizes curriculum mapping workshops for various grade levels. It is a part of Worcester Public Schools, which governs elementary, middle and high schools.
