McMillan Electric Company manufactures nearly 10 million motors a year. The company ships to customers throughout North America, and the customers, in turn, sell their products worldwide. From an original series of shaded pole motors used mostly in fans, the McMillan motor line has expanded and evolved. Its additions of permanent split capacitor and permanent magnet DC motors and the shaded two-coil, two-pole line, has enabled it to provide motors for an ever-increasing range of applications. McMillan motors power such products as air purifiers, air conditioners, heaters, air compressors, ventilation systems, exercise equipment and garage door openers. McMillan Electric Company is located in Woodville, Wis.
