We left our cat at the Trickum Ridge Animal Hospital for 5 nights. When we returned from our trip to pick her up, to our fright and dismay, the person at the front desk informed us that she would not "come out of her cage". We thought, cage? All of the cats at this facility are kept in tiny cages stacked on top of each other w/no flooring. It's just mesh wire that hurts the cat's feet. Not only that, but we told them she needed clay litter and they used paper litter. We made very simple requests and paid them extra to make sure everything would be taken care of for our short out of town getaway. When I got to her "cage" she was covered in urine and walking in her own excrement. I had to pry her out of the cage. It was very excruciating/traumatizing for her and us. She hasn't been the same since staying at Trickum Ridge (even a year later). She was a fun happy well behaved loving cat prior to her stay. Now she's just a pile of nerves. Save yourself the heartache, go somewhere else!!!
