I wish I could give this negative stars. They are horrible. When you work with them as accountants while being an office manager they treat you like a criminal. It takes forever to hear back from them. They block information from you. They still haven't done taxes from two years ago for the company I worked for. Now here I am needing my pay history and I can't get ahold of them.
They are horrible. Don't waste your time or money. It's a headache and they will hurt you in the long run.

My husband and I used their services for my taxes in 2007. Referred by a friend, I had hoped to receive special assistance with (what I found to be) a complicated employment scenario of being 1099 for part of the year and W2 for the other part. While he indeed filed our taxes, the process was extremely long. To make matters worse, our CPA (Greg Schultz) made me feel very uncomfortable as he scrutinized my taxes from the previous year, literally interrogated us over specific write-offs and proceeded to be of little help when it came to making the most of having had a personal, home business. There were certain aspects of my business that I had researched and believed to be appropriate for "write offs." He made me feel like a criminal for even asking.



His fees were very high (we paid him over $300 for just the taxes) and he asked for additional fees up front so that he could "research errors" made on our previous year's taxes. Not only did he fail to do any research, he kept our tax documents from the year before and we never heard back from him about the supposed "errors."



Two years later, I needed those documents to complete a legal process involving my home. I spent over a week calling his office and leaving voice messages. Though promised by a receptionist to have my call returned by Mr. Schultz, I never got a call back. Finally feeling like a stalker, I gave up my 4-5 calls a day ritual and had to contact the IRS directly for my paperwork. Believe it or not, I would gladly work directly with the IRS ANY DAY than this poor excuse of an accountant firm.
