Finally! The Tri-State Area has a premier indoor shooting range. New Jerseys only 5 Star Range is here! The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) established the parameters for a 5 Star Range to meet a minimum of 522 points in various categories. We are awaiting approval from the organization but at this point our facility has an incredible 651 points! If the NSSF had a 6 star rating, we would be it. We are very excited about the opening of this facility; its safe, heated and air conditioned, clean, barrier-free, with food service available. Imagine shooting indoors at 25 or 50-yards with your rifle, pistol, shotgun up to 50-caliber! Why we are your first choice in indoor shooting! Safety Both of our ranges are staffed with trained Range Safety Officers at all times. Convenience We have a lounge area, free Wi-Fi, caf on site, and plenty of parking. This is often the most overlooked aspect when someone is choosing a facility. We spared no expense with our system because you are worth it. Environment - There is no other range like ours anywhere. Training - If you know Gun For Hire then you know the level of quality training we offer. With over 21 years in the firearms training business, we have earned the right to say we are the best. Professionalism - We are a full time range and a full time training organization. This is not a hobby for us like others and it shows. What type of clothing is required to use at the range? Do you have a dress code? - We dont have a dress code, however, we recommend shooters wear closed-toed footwear and shirts that arent low cut to avoid getting burned by spent shell casings.

Since 1992 we have established an impressive list of satisfied students. We have worked very hard to develop the reputation that we enjoy. We will not and do not compromise our ethics or integrity for business. We will work hard to earn the privilege of adding your name to our list of satisfied students. Both of our ranges (13 port 25-yard and New Jerseys only public 6-port indoor, 50-yard shooting range) have a state-of-the-art, programmable turning target system. The target system is easy to use and quickly positions the target at the desired distance controlled from a digital keypad located in each lane. Our Range Safety Officers can help you select an appropriate, pre-programmed scenario to test your shooting skills. Your comfort, health and safety are our first priority. With this in mind, we have a custom designed heated and air-conditioned ventilation system that will keep the particulates and gas from your discharging firearm moving downrange at all times. When youre done shooting, you can relax in our lounge and watch other Club Members shoot or you can enjoy some great food at our "Rifle Camp Caf," which is located in the Club. Our entire facility is barrier free. Qualifications: We will be offering retired PD and security qualifications every Tuesday 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and every Wednesday 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm no appointment needed. Training: Gun For Hire offers a variety of different training and instructional programs for the beginner as well as the more advanced shooter. Our range will have dedicated ports for firearms instruction; no more feeling rushed or hurried when you are in a class. Firearm Rentals: We will offer the largest selection of handguns, rifles and shotguns in various calibers for rent in the Tri-State Area. This page will be updated as our rental inventory grows. If you want a change of pace from your own firearms or are trying to decide which gun should be your first, our rental program will give you an opportunity to try a variety of options. Range Supplies: We will offer all of your range supply needs from targets to ammo to eye and ear protection. Welcome to the family.
