I went to see Dr. Hoffman about a rash on my face. He touched my skin 1 time and diagnosed me with Rosacea. He didn't ask me questions or listen to what I told him. The prescription he gave me made my condition worse. Two days later I went to a Dermatologist who said I definitely did not have Rosacea but Contact Dermatitis (which I had asked Dr. Hoffman about because I had had it before, but he didn't listen). I paid $125 for the office visit, $80 for the prescription and then was billed an extra $114 for the office visit. I'm not sure what extra service warranted the $114.



I came back later in the day because the condition had worsened and he gave me a RX for steroid creme that both the Dermatologist and a pharmacist said wasn't suited for facial skin and detrimental to facial skin. Thankfully I didn't fill that Rx and use it.



If he wasn't equipped to diagnose a skin condition it would have been nice to know that before I paid for the appointment.
