Located in Woodland Hills, Southern Cal Smiles has been serving cosmetic dentistry patients in the west San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles areas for 25 years.Susan C. Fredericks, DDS, is a native of Southern California and received her bachelors degree in biological science from UCLA in 1977. Immediately after graduation, she entered the UCLA School of Dentistry and completed her degree in 1981. She was the youngest member of her class. Since 1981, Dr. Fredericks has been practicing cosmetic and restorative dentistry in west San Fernando Valley. She lives in Calabasas with her husband. She has two children, Danielle, who graduated from UCLA Dental School in 2016 and is currently doing a post graduate residency in Oral Surgery there. Her son Brett will start medical school in Chicago in August 2017. Dr. Fredericks is a volunteer instructor at UCLA, donates many hours monthly to the MEND free clinic in Pacoima and is an accomplished triathlete. Dr. Fredericks is devoted to continuing education for herself and her team. They keep up with the latest advances in service and technology by regularly attending local and national conferences and workshops. Dr. Fredericks is a multi-course graduate of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.While Southern Cal Smiles does concentrate on esthetic services, Dr. Fredericks office also provides comprehensive dental care to ensure optimal health and function in every smile. Dr. Fredericks services include cleanings, implants, fillings, crowns and bridges, bonding, extractions and dentures. Dr. Fredericks is absolutely amazing. she listened to my needs and desires. I had a lot of work done and I never had any pain. she takes great care to make sure you are numb and comfortable.

I am new to the area and was looking for a new dentist, I was referred to Dr.Fredericks by a coworker and she did not disappoint at all. She has so much energy and is so knowledgeable she just really makes you feel comfortable (well as comfortable as one could be in a dental office). She explains everything so well and makes sure you understand everything. She does great work and I 100% would recommend 10/10 dentist

Everyone in the practice is extraordinary. Always on time or early. Dr. Fredricks takes the time to listen patient concerns and makes appropriate and reasonable recommendations.
I have been going to Dr. Fredericks since I was a kid and she and everyone provide the best experience. Everyone is very helpful and great at explaining the whole process step by step. Only if I move out of Los Angeles would I get a new dentist.
Excellent and amazing have been a patient of Dr. Fredricks for years and have never had a bad experience. And getting crowns on the front teeth I broke in a fall went just as quickly and smoothly as knew it would. Her staff are super nice and helpful, and Dr.Fredricks got the job done perfectly...I now have two perfect new front teeth!
She is the best, professional, caring and an expert in her field. I love coming to the dentist. She really has takes care of me since 1990!!!!!!
Dr.Fredericks was amazing and a great conversationalist. She kept things fun and interesting even throughout her poking in my mouth. It was a great experience and for sure one of the best dentists I have visited ever!
