An Oasis! Don't let the understated strip mall exterior fool you. It just makes this place a good secret! Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is upscale but gave me the instant sense of welcome and comfort of a neighborhood establishment. The Sushi was delicious! They use the highest quality ingredients all the way down to the smelt eggs and sesame seeds! They made several custom, special request, sushi rolls like they had been making them for me for years. Personally, I prefer a slightly crunchy rice with my Sushi but because of they're extra effort, I gave them (5) Stars. It's all a matter of preference anyway. They have gained a new loyal customer!

WELL HERE IT IS, FINALLY A GREAT SUSHI BAR TO REPLACE OLD KOBE. THE SUSHI MEN ARE NOT JAPANESE BUT DO SERVE IN TRADITIONAL JAPANESE STYLE. IF FACT THESE GUYS HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL. THEIR PRESENTATIONS ARE OF A TRUE ARTIST. THEIR FISH IS TOP GRADE BUT NOT THE BIGGEST PIECES. THEIR NIGHTLY SPECIALS ON DRINKS MAKE UP FOR THAT. ON THE WEEKENDS THERE IS EVEN LIVE MUSIC. THE INTERIOR HAS BEEN REMODELED IS FINALLY A NICE PLACE TO GO, OTHER THAN THE BATH ROOMS. OUR VENTURA BLVD. IN THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY HAS MORE SUSHI BARS THEN ANY STREET IN JAPAN & I HAVE BEEN TO MANY OF THEM. IF YOU LOVE SUSHI YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE.
