Patients of all ages, genders, and ethnicities are welcome. Ankle & Foot Specialist of N.J. is the single source for all foot and ankle care needs of men, women, and children in the area. From ingrown toenails to arthritis pain to serious nerve problems, the team has the expertise to diagnose what’s wrong and to find the best treatment. The podiatrists focus on establishing great doctor/patient relationships, understanding and acting upon patients’ specific needs, and educating patients about the importance of good foot and ankle health. The practice offers nonsurgical and surgical interventions for a broad spectrum of foot and ankle conditions including diabetic foot care, athlete’s foot, heel pain, and plantar fasciitis, bunions, flat feet, and hammertoe. The podiatrists also care for the special needs of pediatric patients. The team also treats sports injuries, such as ankle sprains and strains, and offers physical therapy and custom orthotics. Dr. Thapar is certified to perform Dellon procedures to reverse the effects of diabetic neuropathy. The team also uses MicroVas® to address pain, peripheral neuropathy, circulation issues, diabetic wounds, and sports injuries.
