Established in 1972, Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority operates as a recycling center, which recycles solid and water waste. Based in Woodbine, N.J., the company provides a variety of recycling and solid waste disposal services to the residents of Cape May County. It specializes in designing, constructing and operating, efficient and cost-effective wastewater treatment facilities. The company recycles bottles, cans, paper, batteries, electronics, rigid plastics, paint, used motor oil, filters, to name a few. In solid waste management system, it provides secure sanitary landfill, sustainable landfill, transfer station, intermediate processing facility and household hazardous waste collection.
