Drs. Michael and Lila Comalli established Conrad Weiser Animal Hospital in 1992 as a full service animal hospital to serve the needs of pets and their owners in Berks, Lebanon, and Lancaster Counties. Our hospital is equipped to provide the best possible surgical and medical care for your pet. Our upper floor is used for outpatient services such as patient appointments, medication dispensing, and client communications. Our lower level provides inpatient medical and surgical care from surgery to ultrasound.

I can't thank enough both Drs. Mike and Lila Comalli, as well as the staff of Conrad Weiser Animal Hospital for their caring, understanding and especially their patience with me as a most demanding dad. Initially, I had visited several other local veterinarians and was always left feeling like they were just going through the motions and had no vested interest in the outcome. In her later years, my beautiful calico Honey had become stricken with several debilitating diseases all at once and I am convinced that the only reason she lived as long and as happily as she did was because of the heartfelt care she received from the special individuals at CWAH. When the time came to let go, they not only helped me come to that decision without regret, but they handled it with such professionalism and compassion that Im not sure I would have made it through had I gone anywhere else. I can only think of them all now as dear friends and I highly recommend them to any pet owner...Craig B.

Went here for a few years. Staff was great and Dr. Mike did a fine job. But one morning I found one of my female cats, who had been rather lethargic and off her diet for a couple days, sitting for several minutes in a litter box. Previously had a cat die from a blockage. So I called Conrad Weiser about 9:30 AM on a Saturday morning. Receptionist supposedly talked to Dr. Mike and told me that I could not be seen for two hours. I said the cat may be blocked (I didn't know then that urinary blockage is not common in female cats). Didn't matter - two hours was the best. I hung up and called Wyomissing. They took me in right away (and no emergency fee). Cat was not blocked. Just feeling poorly for unknown reasons and she recuperated. But how long for Dr. Mike to have checked for a blockage - 30 secons, 60 seconds max. If so, it was an emergency. If not, then I could have waited for an appopintment or made another appt. But to refuse to see the cat - no way. Never went back since.

This is a wonderful animal hospital. Dr Mike is the best. He is an excellent doctor. Always gives great advise and care to my dog, The entire staff is great. They are kind and caring and very professional. A wonderful atmosphere. Would not trust anyone else.

Conrad Weiser Animal Hospital has taken excellent care of my pets for the past 20 years. The doctors and staff are all very friendly, knowledgable, and truly caring about my most important possession -- my pets! Dr Mike is an excellent doctor who can diagnose even the most difficult of cases. They have always been there for me, offering me help, understanding and compassion. I would NEVER go anywhere else with my beloved pets.
