Admiral Metals is a nationally recognized metals supplier. The company has warehouses and other locations throughout the northeast United States, but its scope extends through the mid-Atlantic states as well as all of New England and New York state. Admiral has a retail outlet, the Metal Source, in northeastern Massachusetts, to accommodate walk-in business for small orders. Since its inception, this service has been ideal to fill the needs of engineers, hobbyists, artists and machine shop owners. After serving as a one-stop, cash-and-carry operation for many years, Metal Source now ships any size order via the United Postal Service. The company attained ISO 9002 certification in 1999. Its products include aluminum, beryllium, brass, bronze, bearing bronze, copper, custom extrusions, specialty metals and stainless steel. Admiral Metals is headquartered in Woburn, Mass.
