I had an appointment for 5 o'clock and they didn't even get started with my car until past 7. It's absolutely the last time i ever bring my car here.

I took my car in for a basic oil change; the employees tried to convince me to upgrade to a more "deluxe" oil change (4x the price) and to purchase an oil additive. Though annoying, this push is understandable. However, after looking at my car, I was told that there were several major issues with it that would make it dangerous to be on the road, if the car would even start. I balked at this diagnosis since I had not noticed any signs of problems with the car. The employees were very pushy wanting to perform the services, but I refused. I took the car into the dealer the next day and was told it was in great condition. In particular, Pep Boys told me the brake pads needed to be replaced IMMEDIATELY, while the dealer told me that they still have at least 50% of their life left. While I have no issues with the actual oil change that was performed, I will never trust Pep Boys to tell me the truth about my vehicle.
