General Info
The Dize Company is one of the largest fabricators of awnings, tarpaulins and specialty products on the East Coast. The company manufactures and distributes rooftop cargo carriers, vehicle interior liners, restraint netting, poly tarpaulins, cotton tarpaulins, canvas and vinyl cargo covers, umbrellas, banners, car and boat covers, residential and commercial fabric awnings and tents. The company was founded in 1913 as a canvas awning, window shade and tarp manufacturer called Hudgin Awning Company. In 1922, Archie Thomas Dize purchased the company and moved its headquarters to Winston-Salem, N.C., and began manufacturing tents for fairs, carnivals, circuses, gospel events and the United States Armed Forces. The name was changed to Dize Awning & Tent Company and later to The Dize Company.

I bought a large tarp from Tractor Supply for $110.00 in January 2012. In June, it started tearing. We tried to use duct tape to repair it but it eventually split completely into. When talking to Walter at Dize Company, he was not helpful nor concerned for the customer. We were told..there's nothing we can do. If we had taken it back to the store within 6 mos, it would have been replaced. It was damaged within 6 mos but we tried to fix it ourselves. After finding the receipt yesterday, we called hoping for a pro-rated price to replace it. Walter was not friendly at all with us. Very direct and cold. You need someone who cares for the customer or you will not have any customers in the future. You rate "extremely poor" in my opinion.
