      Tripps Restaurant is designed around a single concept, a common theme. All Tripps restaurants meet established standards so that the look, the feel and the taste at each Tripps restaurant are identical. The restaurant is a neighborhood restaurant and is a great place for a business lunch, a romantic dinner, a special occasion with friends or just an evening away from the kitchen. Its parent company, Battleground Restaurants, is headquartered in Greensboro, N. C. The corporate staff in Greensboro is committed to providing support services, including training, to those that serve guests. The first Tripps Restaurant was opened in 1981 in Greensboro. There are more than 10 Tripps restaurants in the tri-state area of North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The company has a branch located in Winston Salem, N.C., where it employs nearly 50 people.
