.I went with a family of four, I had the Shrimp/Scallop/Salmon for like 16 dollars; and after the Chef (very friendly and very funny) finished making the food, I had about a mound of Fried rice, more than half a dozen scallops, vegetables and rice overfilling the plate, freshly cooked shrimp, and a very nicely cooked salmon. Anywhere else and you would pay a premium for this kind of food. Def!!! worth every penny. I joked with my brother telling him that he had enough food feed a third world country. (By the way, I usually eat quite a lot, and when my Brother and I cant finish a meal, it usually means its more than a LOT) I recommend going early. I went there two days ago and from 4pm-6:30pm is the best time; but after that and it gets incredibly busy. "Kanpai, also known as "Cheers!""I love this place. I go here every birthday, celebration, and outing. Its a 2 hour drive from Durham, and even with gas prices soaring, I would never give up a chance to eat here. I've been going to this place for about 8 years, ever since my girlfriend at the time introduced me to the wonderful atmosphere of Japanese Cookery!. 8 years later, and atleast 30 visits later, I always have a GRAND spectacular time.
