Carver High School offers a range of educational opportunities. Located in Winston-Salem, N.C., the school s sports activities include wrestling, soccer, basketball, football, volleyball and golf. The school has a Jacket Integrated Academy that focuses on science, technology, engineering and math and provides students with opportunities to take specialized courses and participate in internships and job shadowing. Carver High School s curriculum includes physical education, social studies, career and technology education and English. The school has a foreign language department that offers classes in French and Spanish languages. Carver High School employs several counselors who help students to plan their schedules based on career plans, gain admission to institutions of higher education and monitor class progress.
