      Ardmore United Methodist Church, located in Winston Salem, N.C., operates a school program, The Through-the-Week School. It is a preschool for children up to age 5. The school meets for three hours, with an optional two-, three- or five- days a week, during the regular school year, with a four-week session in the summer. The school programs are designed to meet the needs of young children. It provides a nurturing environment with emphasis on assisting children to learn appropriate ways to solve problems and obtain the academic skills necessary to be successful. The Through-the-Week School offers opportunities for learning through guided play within a framework of relaxed orderliness.
