  We made a commitment to deep root feeding our 75 year old Sugar Maples when we built our house 25 years ago. We were worried that the construction would destroy our trees and our trees still look great. Thank you!

• Arborist Services
  Sadly, Illinois will lose all of its 130 million Ash trees – except for those properly treated by knowledgeable Arborists. The destructive Emerald Ash Borer is widespread. The good news is that although it was once believed to be an untreatable insect, we now know that is not true.
• Tree Mulching
  We refer to the proper method of mulching as ‘volcano’ mulching. It is ok to apply mulch a few inches thick as long as the mulch is left 4 to 6 inches away from the base of the plant. This method is shown in the photo on the right.

• Lawn Maintenance
  To whom it may concern, We are fairly new customers with Tree Green, but have quickly learned that they are absolutely superior in their knowledge and expertise. Previously, we had used a well know "lawn care" company to also treat our trees, resulting in the loss of two exquisite, mature Flowering Crabs, due to untimely, improper and inadequate treatments. Multiple calls over the ensuing years produced no better service. Out of frustration, I reached out to Tree Green. They promptly sent out two certified Arborists, who assessed all areas of concern. While their treatment plan was not the cheapest route we could go, we were not willing to risk further damage and loss of any more of our many beautiful tree varieties. Subsequently, our trees have never been healthier or looked better; they are the mainstay of our entire yard. Tree maintenance is a necessary investment in your home and property.
