  Designing Beauty Academy is proud to announce the latest addition to our school — our barber program ! This new, state-of-the art program will teach students how to master both basic and advanced techniques in barbering, including hair and scalp treatments, facial massages, shaving, haircutting, hairstyling, permanent waving and chemical relaxing, hair coloring, and safe work practices. Students will also gain invaluable business and legal knowledge, including management ethics, interpersonal skills, salesmanship, and more. At the end of the course, all barbering students will take the state licensing exam from the Colorado Office of Barber and Cosmetology Licensure, and begin their exciting new career in the barbering industry.
