- Bacterial and Viral Infection TreatmentGreat place for urgent pet care! Took my husky here twice in 2 weeks, and called several times for advice. Every encounter was exceptional. Friendly, informative, and patient with my questions. Needed sutures for my dog’s foot. They gave me options first based on healing on time and I opted for the stitches. I followed up 2 weeks later and they asked for photos to make sure she was healing well. She got an unrelated bacterial infection and again the service was amazing. Very happy pet owner!
- Kidney Disease TreatmentIn December 2020 Leonard developed a ureter obstruction and nearly died of kidney failure. He underwent a procedure at Tufts University called a SUB placement to bypass his blocked ureter, and thanks to Tufts our freeloading troublemaker is back to wreaking havoc.
- Wound and Fracture CareBite wounds. Like other traumatic injuries, bite wounds from other domestic or wild animals may be more severe than they appear initially. Bite wounds can also quickly become infected, therefore any pet that has been bitten should be examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible.

- Spaying and NeuteringDr. Sara LePine started working with animals as a teenager in a stable in exchange for riding lessons. She then volunteered with a small animal practice that provided pediatric spay and neuter services as well as general care to her local ASPCA. From that moment she was hooked and started to pursue a veterinary career. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences from Cornell University where she also worked as a student at McConville Barn and Kleberg Barn caring for the horses, mules and hinnies used in genetics and immunology research. After finishing her degree at Cornell she worked for the USDA Farm Service Agency programs for family farms. She then travelled to Scotland to attend Vet School at the University of Edinburgh, Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. She graduated in 2008 and moved to New Hampshire to start her career in Mixed Animal Practice. She then moved to Small Animal General Practice. She worked in General Practice, including Urgent Care for 12 years. She first started Relief shifts for a Veterinary ER in 2016 and has spent the past 5 years primarily in Urgent Care and Canine Reproduction. As time has gone on, she found that she enjoys the particular challenges and variety of Emergency Medicine and chose to go ER full time. She loves the balance of Soft Tissue Surgery, Internal Medicine diagnostics and Critical Care. She lives with her Life Partner, Derrick, their two dogs Drax and Rocket and three cats, Vladamira, Val, and Marvel Moet. In her free time she enjoys travel, dining out, the performing arts and practicing Aerial Silks.
- Laboratory ServicesWe recently completed a building expansion (adding extra storage, a specialty treatment room, conference room, doctor’s office, and an expanded radiology room), and a parking lot expansion that nearly doubled our parking capacity. Our hospital includes a full in-house laboratory, DR Xray, ultrasound, isolation ward, and a surgical suite fully equipped for all soft tissue surgery, including electrocautery, Voyant vessel sealer, and state-of-the-art patient monitoring equipment. We have a new Snyder ICU cage, and an OGSI oxygen generating system so we are not reliant on tanks and never run out of oxygen. We are paperless and utilize EzyVet cloud-based software, and SmartFLow patient tracking software.
