Luis A. Gandara, MD, is a board-certified primary care sports medicine physician with the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. With an emphasis on improving overall health and performance and preventing injuries, he treats athletes and those with physically active lifestyles and can treat non-surgical fractures and administer steroid injections. He also specializes in platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, for healing damaged tissue and ultrasound-guided injections.
