Wilson County Schools operates more than 20 educational facilities and serves over 10,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district offers various sports programs that include cheerleading, cross country, golf, football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, swimming, wrestling, baseball, golf, tennis, soccer, softball, and track and field. The district s campuses provide academic programs that focus on the development of reading, language arts and math skills in lower grades. Each institution teaches history, geography and science. The schools also provide instruction in computer applications, music, industrial arts, library sciences, and health and physical education in higher grades.
