He was trying to make everyone feels less anxious and worry about up coming surgery. Candy is to make them feel relaxed and distracted. He was very friendly and funny and that really helped them with their surgery. Oral surgery is always expensive and never covered 100%. Its like that everywhere! I cant complaint about my kids experience with him. He called back to check on my kids after 48hours which was weekend.
I would have to strongly disagree with the previous review. Dr. Puckett has removed primary and wisdom teeth from both of my sons. He likes to maintain a relaxed atmosphere in his office because he knows some patients can be very anxious about any kind of dental work. My oldest son was out baling hay 48 hours after all four of his wisdom teeth were extracted by Dr. Puckett!

I would not recommend this oral surgeon. He takes the procedure with little to no seriousness. He gives the patient unlimited amounts of candy and then will provide you prescriptions of pain relievers such as percocet without even scheduling a surgery date. The are very expensive and want you to provide a large amount of money on the day of the surgery. The office is new and it makes you feel like you are making payments on it with the cost of the surgery. What oral surgeon "laughs" about an important event like surgery? With their location of Wilmington, Ohio and with the devestation of the community and it's financial status, why would an oral surgeon insists on such high costs to it's patients?
