I walked into this small shop (sent by a friend) with its endless cubbies of colorful yarn surrounding a quaint circle of seats. My moment of nirvana was shattered when one the ladies demanded in the most accusatory tone, "May we help you?" I was stunned - I thought this was a store open to the public not some private gathering to which I was intruding. I stammered that I was told about this place and that I just wanted to check it out. I was informed that I could look around - less hostile but with a tone that was far from friendly. The place is truly a knitter's paradise - high quality yarns in every thickness, color and blend with finished knitted projects scattered throughout, well made to the last detail. I circled twice and was not spoken to again. My desire to purchase would have settled for the slightless of efforts by this retailer at redeeming their first impression. Never have I left a store so disappointed for not buying something.

Knitting for the past 4 years, I usually provide a knitted gift to family members at holidays, birthdays, special events, etc., and also loom knit at least 50 baby hats per year for charity. I had chosen a new pattern to try which called for a specific brand of yarn for the project. A search on the internet listed this store as being a carrier of the brand. On 6/14/08, I chose to contact this store to see if they carried the particular brand and color I needed. The person on the phone advised me that they did not have any of it in stock, but would be happy to order it for me, and that it would most likely arrive at the store no later than Friday 6/20/08. She then went on to say that she would need to check to make sure that it was still a possibility of ordering, and wanted my information to call me back. To date, 6/23/08, I have had no return call. I feel that my time was not valued, and can not recommend them. I will not use them in the future. I have ordered the yarn elsewhere.
