The help I found in Dr. George J. Scontsas is without comparison. I truly had no idea what to expect other then the possibility of detoxing off of methadone by changing to Suboxone. What I found was a caring, empathetic, helpful & renewed hope through Dr. Scontsas. That was in Nov. 2006. Today, I am a success story due to him. I've made myself available to other people in my situation if he felt I could be of help to them. This form of pain management is like nothing I've experienced. This way works! My very first appointment with Dr. Scontsas was two & a half hours, we left nothing out of my story. I was not rushed then & never have been. I see him every other month & if needed, he & his staff make time for me. After every appointment, I leave feeling positive. We celebrate victories & work through trying times.
