Emma B. Trask Middle School is affiliated with the New Hanover County Schools. The school offers an extensive curriculum that includes mathematics, science, language arts, social studies, computer, foreign language, arts, health and physical education. It enrolls students in class six through eight. The school s library is an instructional support center and houses more than 15,000 of printed and audiovisuals for the students and staff to increase students reading skills and to improve their abilities to use technology and books. It has a parent-teacher association that increases awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school. New Hanover County Schools operates various elementary and secondary schools. The school is located in Wilmington, N.C.
