Austin Financial Services is a full service investment banking and consulting firm, with specialization in the community banking industry. With locations in Ohio and North Carolina we have served clients all over the country, and members of our organization have spoken before numerous state and national industry groups.Founded in 1967 by Dr. Douglas V. Austin, AFSI continues to assist our clients with mergers and acquisitons, stock valuations, strategic planning, branch feasibility studies, director training, De Novo charters and branches, management evaluations and searches and special projects. AFSI also has a publications division with books offered that over the years have provided invaluable education and assitance to directors and management of community financial institutions.Craig D. Bernard is president of AFSI and brings his years of experience in the banking industry to meet the individual needs of each client organization. Mr. Bernard has a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University and an M.B.A from The University of Toledo. He started his banking career at Banc One in Columbus, Ohio and has been working with community financial institutions since 1983.
