  Welcome to the website of Susan Andracchi, MD. Our ophthalmology practice subspecializes in diagnosis and treatment of retinal and neuro-ophthalmic conditions. We are located in Wilmington and Supply, North Carolina serving coastal North and South Carolina.
• Macular Degeneration
  We treat retinal conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, uveitis, central serous chorioretinopathy.  Neuro-ophthalmic problems such as optic neuritis, double vision, visual field loss and papilledema are also addressed and treated through our practice. The practice philosophy relies on evidence based medicine and use of proven advanced techniques and medicaton effective for challenging retinal and neuro-ophthalmic conditions.

• Diabetic Retinopathy
  Susan Andracchi, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist subspecializing in diagnosis and treatment of retinal and neuro-ophthalmic diseases. She has particular interests in diseases of the macula including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, central serous chorioretinopathy and venous occlusive disease. She uses the most advanced imaging modalities including fluorescein angiography, indocyanine green angiography and fundus autofluorescence photography to aid in diagnosis of various retinal disorders.  Her interests in neuro-ophthalmic diseases include myasthenia gravis, other causes of double vision, optic neuritis, optic neuropathies, idiopathic intracranial hypertension.

  If you have been seen by an eye doctor or other physician we ask that you be sure your records have been sent. Any brain or orbital MRI or CT studies should be forwarded as well.
