The YMCA of Delaware is a nonprofit organization that offers various youth development programs. It provides a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, basketball, football, golf, lacrosse, volleyball and cheerleading. The organization s child care program includes homework assistance, arts and crafts, field trips, and recreational and sports activities. The YMCA of Delaware offers before- and after-school enrichment programs to students in kindergarten through grade eight. It organizes day camps for fun and outdoor discovery that are accredited by the American Camp Association. In addition, the organization conducts babysitting classes that provide information on topics, such as child development, age appropriate toys, accident prevention and emergency care.
