Maddox Concrete Company, Inc. delivers concrete to contractors and homeowners using our mobile concrete mixer trucks. Our trucks produce concrete using the Volumetric mixing method. The trucks store the ingredients on board in separate bins as opposed to being mixed at a central batch plant. Once the truck arrives at the jobsite, the ingredients are volumetrically mixed by a chain feed system. The ingredients are then mixed in a screw auger during the concrete placement. Volumetric mixing concrete is based on quantity not on weight. Our concrete is mixed and metered at the customer's jobsite. There is a one-yard minimum for delivery. After the first yard you will pay for what you use and not what you ordered. After delivery, our drivers print out a ticket for the quantity of concrete poured. The tech delivering the concrete was very professional, and quick. He confirmed with me all the steps needs, ensuring the yard was OK to drive on as well as how to pour the concrete. He also helped me with the manual work from the wheel barrow where needed. He was very polite and and I would highly recommend this company. The price was very fair and the delivery was fast. I scheduled it on a Friday for a Tuesday delivery and the tech was prompt.
