Downtown Visions is a nonprofit group that monitors the downtown area of Wilmington, Del., and surrounding neighborhoods. The company operates a subsidiary, Clean & Safe Services, that offers seasonal steam-cleaning, graffiti removal and weed abatement. In addition, the company s representatives patrol the area and are equipped with handheld radios, safety gear and medical kits for emergencies. The representatives offer individual escort services from shopping centers or other establishments to bus stops or personal automobiles. Clean & Safe Services also monitors cameras that are planted in neighborhoods with high crime rates.
