Upper Moreland High School offers an extensive curriculum that includes mathematics, social studies, science, world languages and English. The school offers classroom instruction on various levels with different academic expectations. Instructional levels are assigned on the basis of teacher recommendation, academic record, standardized test scores, student motivation and interest. Located in Willow Grove, Pa., the school offers a variety of advanced-placement, honors, college-preparatory and academic courses. It also has programs in health, arts, humanities, United States history and modern world history. Upper Moreland organizes a student assistance program designed to provide education, prevention, early identification, intervention, referral and support services for students exhibiting risk behaviors. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and the Pennsylvania department of education. Upper Moreland High School serves students in grades nine through 12.
