I just went here after getting my first backyard chickens. The owner was very helpful and told me about different options for bedding, food, etc., along with providing basic education and without being pushy. They have a wide variety of products and I felt like the prices were fair. My kids also enjoyed seeing his goats and chickens nearby. He also said they get chicks in during the spring and early summer, including some sexed pullets of good variety from hatcheries. So, when I need more that would be a great place to get some good varieties locally. He had meat chicks today (July) and said he'll also sell turkey chicks, etc. later summer for those who want to raise them for the holidays.
